Police officers catch two policemen cutting down the trees of Ballsh

Ballsh police arrest two of their own for cutting the electricity wires supplying the town Officers from the police forces of the Fier Prefecture Police Directorate carried out a sensational arrest yesterday, among the strangest in recent times. The incident took place in Ballsh in the afternoon, and its protagonists were all police officers. Two serving police officers from the Ballsh town police station, unlike their colleagues who were on various duties around the town, had been engaged in criminal activity with consequences for the town’s residents. The two officers from the Ballsh station’s property-protection unit cut several electricity lines supplying entire neighbourhoods of the town. It seems the policemen had done this several times, until they attracted the attention of other police units at the station. This led Ballsh police forces, together with rapid-response units from the Fier Prefecture Police Directorate, to carry out the sensational arrest of the two policemen who were cutting the wood belonging to the residents of Ballsh.
