If the Meta cabinet was very well directed in its work, bringing Albania’s resources closer to their real value by restoring order in the country and respecting the law throughout all the structures of our society, it is now up to the rest of us to help the Meta cabinet accomplish its mission by showing that we think like our state and that we are a civil society worthy of being a partner of the European family. Sunday in Vlora showed that, as a society, we stand in defense of civilization. But this will also show that we must finally remove the “black prophets” from the political stage democratically, through our free democratic vote. The immediate signals we received from the civilized world showed that our sound human orientation will be rewarded. This time not with games of chance and pyramid schemes, but with serious investments that will make us prosperous through work. And we must know how to make the most of this interest, which is finally making us feel like equal human beings within the human community of the rest of the continent. But the Meta cabinet, too, must seriously analyze its first major achievement, in order to rid its ranks of foreign bodies, the uneducated and the corrupt, who want to return the country to square one. Only in this way will we be ready to face new challenges and win what is rightfully ours: our dignity!
