ISSUE OF THE DAY At long last, a report from London by the observer mission in Albania has arrived, submitted to the EDU on the problems facing the PD recently. This is a bleak report, in which the Albanian opposition is portrayed as an opposition “with vices”, the worst of which is “the lack of internal democracy”. It is not difficult to understand between the lines that Berisha is to blame for this situation: this foul-mouthed sick man, who has degenerated into authoritarianism and is leading the PD toward expulsion from the EDU. The report does not openly call Berisha a “bandit”, perhaps out of courtesy on the part of its authors, but it openly states that “He is almost capable of organizing street rallies with a gang of devoted supporters, who are ready to cheer him and disrupt his opponents' meetings”. For those familiar with modern European history, like Berisha's in-law Malttezi, the analogy between Berisha and Hitler is not at all far-fetched! Hitler too seized power in this way, and everyone knows what he did after he took it. The analogy between Hitler and Berisha becomes stronger when one remembers the long list of PD leaders whom Berisha eliminated in his struggle for power, and how this entire schizophrenia was reflected in the PD's total degeneration. It is regrettable that the EDU recognized the PD's degeneration at the last moment and pointed to the culprit when almost nothing could be saved from the PD's structure. Pampered and not realistically evaluated, the deranged Berisha was not stopped in his destructive phobia. He managed to incriminate almost the entire PD, and today all the EDU can do is watch in stunned silence as the Hiroshima of the Albanian PD unfolds! The civilized world showed that it did not know the Albanians, who rise up only when the knife reaches the bone. They should have understood before 1997 that Berisha was a sick man massacring his own people. This latest realization has come far too late! Now everything in the PD must be rebuilt from scratch!
