Quando i persecutori sono liberi di agire, gli ex perseguitati non possono essere liberi!

When, in this country, in the name of freedom, those who suffered under the dictatorship begin to be persecuted, then freedom loses its meaning. Former persecuted people, who lived for years in prisons, internment and surveillance, cannot be free if yesterday’s persecutors openly enjoy power, influence and privileges. Democracy cannot be built with new injustices on top of old wounds.
Kur në këtë vend, në emër të lirisë, fillon të persekutohen ata që kanë vuajtur nga diktatura, atëherë liria humb kuptimin e saj. Ish-të persekutuarit, të cilët jetuan vite të tëra në burgje, internime dhe ndjekje, nuk mund të jenë të lirë nëse persekutorët e djeshëm gëzojnë hapur pushtet, ndikim e privilegje. Demokracia nuk mund të ndërtohet me padrejtësi të reja mbi plagët e vjetra.
Quando in questo paese, בשם della libertà, si comincia a perseguitare coloro che hanno sofferto sotto la dittatura, allora la libertà perde il suo significato. Gli ex perseguitati, che hanno vissuto per anni in prigione, internamento e sorveglianza, non possono essere liberi se i persecutori di ieri godono apertamente di potere, influenza e privilegi. La democrazia non può essere costruita con nuove ingiustizie sopra le vecchie ferite.
