PD implements the pact proposed by PS

Some time ago, the Socialist Party proposed a pact intended to bring about a degree of calm in the country’s political struggle, serving, according to PS leaders, the country’s stability and fostering a spirit of understanding between opposing political forces. Some time ago, the Socialist Party put forward the idea of a pact that would help establish a degree of calm regarding the political struggle in the country, serving, according to PS leaders, the country’s stability and the establishment of a spirit of understanding between opposing political forces. The idea of such a pact was opposed by the PD, which described it as a “devilish maneuver” by the socialists, intended to neutralize the fight against the crimes of the past committed by the socialists’ predecessors, including figures in the current PS leadership. Indeed, when the idea of a “social pact” began circulating in political circles, the ranks of the socialists seemed shaken, at least on the surface. the former ZP editors-in-chief; an editor was sentenced to a fine. It would not be long before the long lists called “death lists” were uncovered, which seemed synchronized with the petition by a group of intellectuals condemning the genocide committed over 50 years and calling for those responsible to be brought to trial. But suddenly everything changed when Albania was admitted to the Council of Europe. The eve of this admission saw the last exchange of several rather half-hearted retorts, making way for an undeclared truce. Although in milder tones, both the PS and PD tried to exploit Albania’s admission to the Council of Europe for their own benefit. While the PD tried and the government,” socialist propaganda told and Spahija had promised to meet. Dokle, the PS representative in Strasbourg, at his press conference after returning from the Strasbourg success, gave the impression that the PS was more inclined toward Albania’s membership in the Council of Europe or other institutions than toward the fate of the PS chairman, for whose release it had never stopped campaigning. It was easy to observe that the idea was taking hold among PS leaders that “Nano’s release would come through closer ties with Europe.” Only a few days would pass before the country’s last communist president was freed from prison. The following day, in a message from prison addressed to young socialists, the socialist leader congratulated Berisha on the country’s success in joining the Council of Europe and expressed support for the head of state’s idea concerning repentance. Mr. Godo said that, for a range of reasons, the Republican Party regards Turkey as one of the five most important countries toward which Albanian policy should have a special orientation. Relations between our countries are good, thanks to the care shown by the Turkish government and President Demirel, and to the persistent and talented work of Ambassador Ornekol, but the Republican Party supports further strengthening these relations. President Demirel’s statement at the airport that he considers our country his second homeland will resonate with all Albanians and enter the history of our relations. Mr. Godo said that relations should also extend between political parties. “You, Mr. President, work for peace,” Mr. Godo said, “and rightly advise that together we should be a factor for stability in the Balkans, but this stability must not be built on the backs of the Kosovars or the Bosniaks. The Serbs are flouting the United Nations, which is beginning to resemble the League of Nations on the eve of the First World War. It seems as if today any political pirate can come out in ... GODO: Special relations with Turkey

From Mr. Demirel’s meeting with the chairmen of the political parties In his address to the leaders of the parliamentary parties, President Demirel said, among other things, that a fundamental condition for the development of democracy is a parliament elected by free vote. When violations of democracy are established, the individuals should be punished, but the institutions and structures preserved. The President spoke candidly and warmly about the path taken by Turkey and the experience of the person-

The legalization of drugs...

...The logic is [unclear: këshf?] and social, and crime linked to the drug trade is a consequence of the prohibition of drugs itself and the war against them. The effect of tightening anti-drug measures is simply to raise prices on the black market, which only increases the huge profits of most mafiosi and traffickers who are not caught by the police network,... p. 4

After Srebrenica, Serbs attack Žepa and Goražde

Having achieved the ethnic cleansing of Srebrenica, the Bosnian Serbs launched a major offensive on Friday against the nearby enclave of Žepa and against the Bosnian forces in order to make them leave Goražde, another Muslim enclave in the east. In the evening, NATO announced from Brussels that the positions held by 79 Ukrainian blue helmets deployed in the Žepa enclave had “almost fallen.” According to a UN spokesperson, Serbian forces launched a massive offensive against Žepa at around 16:30. At around 15:30, the Serbs shelled an observation post held by the blue helmets, causing no injuries. The ultimatum issued by the Serbs demanded that the Bosnian defenders of Žepa and Goražde surrender their weapons and leave the enclave by around 16:00. The Bosnian president ordered the soldiers to do everything possible, “no matter what the cost,” to defend Žepa and Goražde, the Bosnian representative in New York assured.

“Hire lawyer Pap Sanx-haku and you’ve got your loss in the bag,” said the town crier as he sipped his coffee at “Dardha.” “I don’t believe that,” said a chance passerby in need, putting his hand into the inside pocket of his jacket. “I have clear evidence,” the town crier continued. “I have the latest study that was published. Sanxhaku has lost all 97 cases that have been heard. He’s like the jinx of Pojan, so to speak.” After finishing his coffee, the town crier remembered the job he was paid to do, slung his drum over his shoulder, and began making his announcements: “The United Nations think it is better to deal with all the Serbs of Bosnia. Force must not be used under any circumstances, because that would be in flagrant violation of the international charter.” “Bonos have started to come into use. People are exchanging them for urban bus tickets. It’s very hot! But this, too, has its good side. You see that the politicians have lowered their voices. Analysts say he is saving it for the next election campaign. Others are of the opinion that Bosnia. We, under no...”
