By Fahri Mehdi So, through an irreparable betrayal with grave consequences for the country, the Socialist government has now officially decided to sell the AMC company to a man personally implicated in criminal activities, ranging as far as fraud, bribery, to the illegal transfer of millions and billions of dollars, tax evasion and theft of tax revenues, and even kidnappings and murders! By placing his name among the winners to buy the AMC company through a thoroughly anti-competitive process, disguised by the madness of our socialist fraudulent “sukuk” schemes, and by removing everything from competition, it is not only openly creating a scandal of such magnitude that it goes beyond all state affairs in Albania, but it has also burdened our government with an international stain that will hardly ever be removed. The bitter news from news agencies on the prestigious pages of the internet and the world, where it seems that the decision to award the lion’s share to two winners who together have only 3,500 phonies registered in Australia, is not the main problem; the bigger problem is this: as winners! The inclusion of the name of Philip A. Falcone [?] and his companies at the top of the list of winners as the third “consortium” together with “Albacell” and several other names, is such a national calamity that it has not occurred for a very long time in the modern history of this country. Yesterday, from the Australian media and radio “ABC”, which were rightly interested in this issue, very shocking and clear data came to light officially about the major questions and the scandal on all its dimensions hidden behind the winner’s companies. Just imagine what is happening! This is very clear. And now? Do you understand it clearly? Do you have it by word and by the clock? Page 3
