They say that this people is burdened by the so-called “the village, the devil’s blessing.” The most painful definition of the word “village” does not necessarily make it a lesser word. The village remains, after all, the place where the human spirit finds its most natural cleansing and where man builds his nest. Conceived under the rays of so many darknesses and in the collapse of so many walls, the anonymous or well-known Albanian turned it into a mystery only for those who are not part of this land. From these sacred feelings for the country, there are still those who remember and feel nostalgic for the coast, for Korçë, for Vlorë or Shkodër. This is that place, this land, where the honest Albanian holds his head high before anyone, even the foreigner, but also before himself. Silent along our shores, the secrets of the Andoni couple’s life are revealed. The tragedy began in Sazan.
