EDITORIAL By Agim Baçi Unrest and protests in Tropojë, special units are requested Page 2 Disrespect for the vote, or the rigorous non-observance of the vote After the conclusion and electoral claims have failed, the clan at the head of the opposition in the district of Tropojë is making an effort to further damage the image of the elections by turning it into a violent conflict. This turmoil is linked to the commissioners of the opposition parties and to their threats to sideline the CEC, due to a lack of seriousness on the part of the Government mission regarding the monitoring of the secret ballot. The blocked decision commission [?], the result, awaiting the CEC decision. It is undoubtedly delayed. This delay may discourage those who wish to manipulate the process. But this concern about the delay should not overshadow the fact that in these elections, in which 100 candidates are involved across the country, they constitute a round of elections that still offers a normal atmosphere. Yet those "blockers" want to discourage the excellent stability of victory and defeat, which has already started to be considered for the local elections too. The only doubt is that this is turmoil stemming from the decision to choose based on conviction and not on intimidation. Is it such a major problem for the CEC that it should resort even to "force", or is there a group of people who want a pretext for blackmail? There is a strong possibility that much of what is happening in Tropojë is noise intended to replace the real lack of argument. Since the protests are more incited than naturally born.
