TVSH does not shut the country down

120 repeaters are stolen and damaged The television signal does not reach many areas EDMOND LACI TIRANA - Affix leaflets to clothing or walls. People in Tirana still write in red and black paint. There are faces of deputies and party leaders who, convinced that at last they are being heard, shout this and that word. It seems that the people of Tirana are truly tired of politicians and their parades. In cafes, when talking about yesterday and today, the name most often mentioned is television. TVSH is bothering them too. Those who have it have started complaining that the picture has become weak or has disappeared altogether. Others say they cannot receive it at all. The transmission technician explains that over the last few weeks 120 repeaters have been damaged or stolen throughout the country. This has meant that the signal of the state television no longer reaches many areas. In some districts it is completely absent, in others it is extremely weak. The radio and television hall in Tirana Near a rare facility where, not long ago, the transmission signal for the whole country was kept, only a few guards now move about. This center of the repeater network has suffered interference and sabotage. Some of the stations have been destroyed, others left without supply. Specialists say the damage is not only the result of theft, but also of sabotage. In many places cables have been cut, panels removed, and important parts dismantled. In mountainous areas, where television reached only with the help of these points, families are left without a signal. Viewers are irritated, especially now that the country is going through a period full of political tension. Television remains the main source of information and its absence is seen as a serious problem. According to TVSH sources, part of the equipment can be replaced, but funds and time are needed for that. Meanwhile, cooperation is being sought with local authorities to protect the facilities and prevent further damage.

The contest for companies that will clean Tirana has begun

The capital under threat from waste ANXHELA SEJAMI TIRANA - The municipality has announced a competition for companies that will handle the cleaning of Tirana. According to the initial data, this involves a broad service that includes waste removal, transport, and the maintenance of several key points in the city. The public announcement says interest is high, because the condition of waste in many neighborhoods has become worrying. Bins are full, waste is piled up in some streets, and citizens complain about the bad smell and lack of hygiene. The municipality hopes that through the selection of private firms, cleaning efficiency will increase. But field specialists say that a contract alone is not enough: regular control, equipment, unloading points, and coordination with the existing enterprises are needed. Citizens are waiting for a quick solution, because with the arrival of summer the situation risks getting even worse.

Partizani-Akranes 0-0

Sport The Albanian champions play badly in the first match Partizani-Akranes 0-0 Qualification becomes much more difficult TIRANA - In fact, everything did not start well. From the first minutes it was clear that the red team would have difficulty breaking through the Icelanders’ defense. The visitors played calmly, well positioned on the pitch and with a tactical discipline that cut the rhythm of our attackers. Partizani tried more with strength than with ideas, but clear chances were lacking. In the second half the pressure increased, but the ball did not find the back of the net. The 0-0 draw greatly complicates the return match and makes qualification harder. There was no lack of disappointment in the stands. The fans expected a victory, but the Albanian side appeared nervous and without clarity in the finishing moves. The coach said after the match that the team would try everything in the second game.
