Measures for a border with Greece: 3 refugees killed

Two dead and two wounded Massacre on the border with Greece: 3 refugees killed ATHENS (AP) - Less than three weeks after the tragedy of Peshkëpi, Greek forces have killed three more refugees. The incident took place at a border crossing with Albania, when a Greek border patrol opened fire on a group of Albanians. The toll is: three dead and two seriously wounded. The victims are: Laert Kola, 24, from Tirana; Gëzim Kola, 25, from Tirana; and a third person still unidentified. It is reported that the two wounded were admitted to the hospital in Ioannina. According to the Greek news agency ANA, the Athens authorities justified the act by saying that the refugees did not obey the order to stop. Albanian sources have described the incident as a serious provocation and are demanding an official explanation. The incident has caused strong reactions in public opinion and has renewed tension on the Albanian-Greek border.
