A flood of pamphlets from Greece

Another episode after the Greek plane flew over the Riviera Tirana, three distributors arrested TIRANA - It can no longer be called a sporadic and isolated attack: a new southeastern campaign by Athens has begun through propaganda tools against Albania. In just the last few hours, in different parts of the country, the Albanian public order authorities have managed to block at the entrance to Tirana, by car, along with the perpetrators, a large quantity of pamphlets printed in Greece. The material, containing calls against the Tirana regime, has been distributed at several points along the border with Greece and in the center of Ioannina(?) with inscriptions in Albanian. But in truth the problem is that, moreover, the Albanian police seems convinced that these are not isolated events. According to sources from the Ministry of Public Order, an unknown number of pamphlets with anti-government content have been thrown in an organized manner at the southern border crossings and then distributed inland. Officials hint that this action is directly linked to the recent tension between Athens and Tirana. A Greek border post at Kapshticë (Photo A. Babani) Prelude to the "revenge" TIRANA - Greece is once again trying to take revenge at the expense of Albanian emigrants. As retaliation for the court process over the murder of "Omonia", at the border post Greek police stopped twenty-four Albanians for documents and let two go free. They themselves say they had been caught at the border and were on their way back to Albania. The incident has sparked protest in Albanian government circles. Edmond Laci

Tirana - Athens: now the presidents are also in dispute

Berisha calls again for dialogue TIRANA — In the harsh Albania-Greece dispute over the issue of the Greek minority, the two heads of state, the presidents, have recently entered the fray as well. It is Albanian President Berisha who, through a statement, has clarified the open violation on the Greek side by dropping pamphlets with anti-government content and by encouraging border provocations. Almost at the same time, the press broadcast over the air has regarded the statement by Greek President Karamanlis. "Albania is acting irresponsibly and is taking risks, even if the hour is not far off when it will be called to account for this" — he demanded nervously after the comment from the break. Meanwhile, in the statement by the Albanian President, alongside the determination to respond to all provocative attempts, the call addressed to Greece for dialogue was also appropriate. Kalaja clarifies his position TIRANA — He publicly clarified his position regarding the leader of the so-called "Shoqata e Vorio-Epirit". In a press interview, Mr. Kalaja said that he had "saved a very dangerous figure for the country". He added that he had never met Janullatos and that the famous court process of the minority boys, linked to BSPSH, was being presented as a political issue. ar. me.

Khomeini begins to speak Albanian

A magazine of the mujahedeen “Decadent Western civilization will be defeated once and for all in the 21st century” TIRANA — Some of the “teachings” of the Islamic revolution and the leadership of Ayatollah Khomeini have now also been published in Albanian. In the Islamic cultural magazine, readers are addressed in their own language, speaking about the way the world is conceived according to the Muslims, invited by Allah, accused by all antiqenit(?) of communism alive and well(?). The new magazine, titled "Nuri", is a publication with propagandistic content in which religious and political texts of the ideology of the Islamic republic have been translated into Albanian. At the heart of this balance stands America, characterized by state terror. Selmani Radhie, the author of "Satanic Verses", sentenced to death in his lifetime by Khomeini, has become an example of Western decadence. Indeed they are wild beasts, who do not hesitate to kill their own relatives for treason, in the name of achieving their low and criminal aims. At the head of this balance stands America, characterized by state terror. The magazine has a wide range of themes — it even includes genuine scientific articles, such as those devoted to the history of Islamic architecture in Albanian lands — but the topics with which it almost always opens are Khomeini’s sayings and analyses of his theories. A permanent constant is hostility toward the West — a concept that always remains abstract — which is regarded almost as the greatest enemy of the real world. Iranian revolutionary ideologues have even defined the time when the conflict that will lead to their victory "against Western civilization" will be in the 21st century. Seeing that this position is only left over for bread in Only to be understood where the ideologues of the 1979 revolution have placed Albania, in the language in which this magazine is written, in "Decadent Western civilization" or in "Glorious Islam". The village accuses: «The neighbors have occupied our land»

Mat, two villages quarrel MAT — The threshold of a peasant "war" in the Mat area. Yesterday, facing each other in the center of the two nearby villages, the residents of the villages of Shkallë and Përtalli were positioned. Even in this case — as in any previous kind — the cause is the division of property and land. The residents of Shkallë claim that their neighbors have taken over part of the village’s land. To avoid conflict, the police and representatives of local government intervened. Ve. Anste(?)

A 4-year-old girl in «business»

CURSIVE REALITY TIRANA — The involvement of children in the streets and in various forms of begging or street vending is becoming a common sight. On one of the streets of the capital, a little girl, about four years old, has been seen left to sell small items near traffic. Passers-by react with pity, while no one seems to step in to protect her. In the background remains the poverty of families and the lack of control by institutions. The case once again raises the question of the responsibility of parents and the state toward children. (Ansa[?])
