The adventure of a special pension
HISTORY
ROME - Will the war pension be paid to Albanians, disabled people, veterans, former Italian soldiers during the Second World War? In the memories of a story that ultimately remained unresolved[?], more than 50 years ago, on 2 August 1946, the decree on the "Reorganization of Albanian personnel who took part in the Italian Armed Forces". This decree fixed the criteria for granting pensions and the amount was determined according to specific periods of time. The granting of these pensions is linked to cooperation with the Albanian government, which, since the issuance of the decrees, has neglected the issue. Despite the number of veterans who have benefited from the higher pension, not all will receive it. The amount of not a few recent contributions will quickly pass to them; whatever the Italian army did, first paying the billion-lire annual cost. Requests for pensions from former Albanian military personnel have reached, according to a written reply from the Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Emanuele Scammacca Del Murgo, in response to a request by the President of the Foreign Affairs Committee of Montecitorio[?], Mirko Tremaglia. The issue has prompted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of the Treasury, which are continuously gathering implementing decisions and seeing the need to revise the existing regulations until the legal conditions are created for recognition of the economic benefits. Three ministries will deal with this problem and continue their work to find the fastest solution to the problem, before a period of legality ends so that the problem can be resolved.

"Tirana" returns to victories
FOOTBALL
TIRANA - It was a "spectacular" match for Besidhja against Tirana’s "champion", where it suffered this defeat from the white-and-blues. However, it failed to score a single goal in Albania[?]. Still, the values were evident, as Ferhatoviç proved far from ineffective in the last two periods within one minute - there were also many other scoring chances. Tirana’s second goal was the first for Coçlli with a performance, while for Agustin Qelik it was the first appearance in this championship.

Municipality: "No new name for the stadium"
Berat, "Tomori" or "Jani Kosta"?
BERAT - "The city stadium will not be given the name 'P. Tafa'" declared yesterday the spokesperson of the Municipality of Berat, regarding the stadium initiative approved by the Municipal Council and the position of the Council about the personality’s name. A few months ago the municipal council had included in its decision the legend of Albanian sport, T. Tomori, for whom a positive decision had been made. After discussions, the councillors decided to reconsider the project, while the vote had been returned to the sports assembly. The Defense Council and even the District Council itself - "A name cannot be placed above the existing one". The district council underlined that the popular name cannot be changed. The district council has reassessed the powers of the Municipal Council in this decision; it has also asked the Municipal Council for a second decision "In accordance with the name of the personality", "Jani Kosta" with a return to Tomori. This solution seems acceptable to all the city’s sports fans in order to avoid an unnecessary conflict. Opinion is divided between those who support the tradition of the Berat red football name. In a change, will it be given a foreign name? "The stadium of Albanian sport will not bear another name" is stressed in the local conclusion.
