STERJO KOTA - Omonia held its latest meeting, where it analyzed the situation created after the arrest of five of its leaders. The meeting, which lasted five and a half hours, was attended by members of Omonia’s general council and representatives of political parties in Greece. The special session of Omonia’s general council, chaired by its president Vasil Bollano, was held behind closed doors. At the end, Omonia appealed to the Albanian and Greek governments to calm the situation. In the appeal, Omonia further called on Greek and Albanian leaders to show restraint, avoid inflammatory rhetoric, and let justice do its work.
