Hektor Frashëri had the opportunity to do so after a detailed analysis of the work of the courts in two small districts: Krujë and Kurbin, but it is not difficult to understand that his harsh criticism applies to the entire judicial system.

International organization behind the trafficking of clandestine migrants
VLORE - “There are several specific individuals involved in clandestine movement all the way from Turkey to Italy. And this is carried out by an organized network that also includes Albanians.” Speaking about the major phenomenon of clandestine migrant trafficking, which has affected the shores of Vlora for two years, is Sokol Musolamni, the new chief of the Police Commissariat—appointed only three weeks ago—who discusses and describes everything about its extent and the measures being taken to prevent it.

TIRANA - Athens is welcoming Albanian politicians. This time it is [the person], who, at the head of a six-member delegation, has set off for a working meeting in the neighbouring country, where he is expected to meet the highest political figures, including Prime Minister Andreas Papandreu.
Sources have not made clear the purpose of this high-level Democratic Party delegation's visit to Athens, a visit that is nevertheless described as official. The delegation also includes PD Deputy Chairman and parliamentary group leader Alì Spahia, as well as former Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Dhimitër Anagnosti, who resigned in the post-referendum period. Shehu stayed yesterday in the city of Pogradec for a meeting with the leaders of his party's branch there, and is leaving early this morning for the Kakavija border crossing. From there, his car will join the rest of the convoy travelling to the Greek capital. Shehu, Spahia and the other delegation members are expected to have a packed schedule of meetings. Among them, a possible one-on-one meeting with the head of the Greek government, Prime Minister Andreas Papandreu, stands out. With him, he will review the frequent meetings held recently at the level of government correspondence, and also discuss Strasbourg, where next week the Greek vote is expected to be cast in favour of Albania's membership of the Council of Europe.

The activities of this institution are now completely independent, from beginning to end.” This was the comment by one of the main opposition leaders, PS Deputy Chairman Servet Pëllumbi, immediately after the news was published that very soon Albania would no longer have a State Audit Office, but a Court of Accounts.

TIRANA - “I just want to go home.” These were the teenage girl's last words, seconds before she flew off the motorcycle, which was travelling at high speed towards the outskirts of the capital. Just two days after the tragic accident—while the teenage girl was still in hospital—police officers from Precinct 2 managed to identify and arrest the two rebellious young men, now accused of being the true protagonists of this story.
According to the investigators' statements—which have now enabled them to reconstruct the unusual incident from the beginning—the teenage girl had been promised by the motorcycle's owner nothing more than a ride around the neighbourhood. With the intervention of her friend S.A., who was also a friend of the 27-year-old motorcycle driver, A.B., the girl had not suspected the foolishness of her decision, nor the fact that she was riding with a stranger. But her opinion changed very quickly, precisely when the unknown young man changed the direction of his motorcycle, while the girl's home was getting farther and farther away. “I just want to go home,” the girl kept saying, until the vehicle's speed and the unknown man's insistence forced her to make the sacrifice of jumping off the motorcycle. Fortunately, doctors were able to treat her wounds to her body and head within [unclear]. Meanwhile, the most difficult task had fallen to the police officers: besides the fact that the girl had jumped off an unregistered motorcycle, all the other details were uncovered by investigators from the capital's Police Precinct 2. And at around 4 a.m., the motorcycle's driver was also arrested.
Krasta live on TV, betrayed by the lights

For the first time, the trio Grabocka-Laco-Krasta—the Albanian pioneers of live television shows—have been hit by such a “blackout.” Late last night, while the day's most Albanian events were being shown on TV, director Grabocka came out of her studio into the square in front of “Hollywood,” dressed like Superwoman in her chair. But Krasta plunged into [unclear]—having arrived immediately at “Hollywood”—and the young paparazzi also [unclear] that the fault had been serious. “The technical staff did a wonderful job,” Krasta told Gazeta Shqiptare, gesturing to the cameramen to get ready—“you can surely imagine the show that can be put together with the editing.” The residents of the building that “serves” as his studio, the restaurateurs of “Hollywood,” and those who come to the show every Saturday also came out into the square; strangely, they felt the show's “suspension” through their own “lights,” which did not go out. At 11:25, after about 30 minutes, Krasta received applause and an apology. In any case, the name of Agim Alia, the show's technical director, managed to make it onto the screen, in front of which thousands and thousands of Albanian viewers were now watching with curiosity. In the end, the difficulties the Grabocka-Laco-Krasta trio had been dealing with for some time had now become known to their viewers too. Last night's episode took away from them only the part of the “sin” they could not overcome.
