The Turkish president meets Berisha and the opposition
TIRANA - Turkish President Suleyman Demirel arrived in Tirana yesterday. He then held separate talks with President Berisha and with the chairman of the Socialist Party, Fatos Nano. The meeting with Mr Nano took place in the “Dajti” hotel and lasted about 30 minutes. During the meeting with the chairman of the Socialist Party, President Demirel expressed his belief that Turkey supports and values the constructive role of the political opposition.
