But the mother of the deceased baby and the two passengers managed to escape death, while for the four-month-old baby the fate was different. She died. Four and a half months after coming into the world, but only two days earlier everything was cut short. They were traveling by car to go home, but the driver's carelessness seems to be the real cause of the tragedy. The car veered off the road and fell toward a stream, near the bridge of the village of Karina in Peqin. The passengers miraculously survived, while the mother and baby were seriously injured. Once the tragedy had occurred, the driver, apparently aware of his guilt, abandoned the car and fled in an unknown direction.
