Repeat voting for 40 zones?
4 parties complain to the Commission
The President will decide for them
We’ve been dealt the chicken; is this the “rain” of complaints now arriving at the Central Election Commission? Presented without exaggeration, after all kinds of electoral miracles, these 40 numbers may be the peak of victory, because without them the “rain” of democracy’s collapse would not come to an end. Put simply, votes are not being counted, but results are being gathered. Just notice how calmly they take all these defeats in the Democratic Party. As if nothing had happened. As if defeat were the most normal thing in the world. As if the opponents were a group of children complaining that their ball had been stolen. Or worse, as if all this were a disgusting show for the world and not the open wound of a country that is collapsing over the vote.
At the same time, in the barricade rooms, the opposition enters a hunger strike. Candidates for MPs, people in politics, men and women who have addressed the public for votes, now sitting with books, Coca-Cola and sportswear, waiting for a verification that never comes. An absurd scene of a republic that speaks of pluralism and produces locked doors. Their demand is clear: new elections in Albania. So not a favor, but a minimum of legitimacy.
On the other hand, the President still has the final word on 40 zones. And while 4 parties complain, the bigger question is whether he will decide for the state or for the result. In this tangle of numbers, commissions and nerves, this Friday remained the day when the opposition chose the heaviest symbolic act: barricading itself in and going on hunger strike.

We’ve been dealt the chicken; is this the “rain” of complaints now arriving at the Central Election Commission? Presented without exaggeration, after all kinds of electoral miracles, these 40 numbers may be the peak of victory. Presented like this, things seem to be moving no longer according to ballot boxes, but according to complaint files. In this intertwining of procedure and politics, the final decision remains with the President.

“Europe stood” and Albania begins universalization
After the recommendations issued by the June 1 meeting in Vienna, Central Europe expects the President and the Albanian government to clarify the winner
By now the government and the opposition know that Europe is watching Albania not only for the result, but also for the way the post-election crisis is being managed. The June 1 meeting in Vienna left behind a clear message: without dialogue, without transparency, without clarification of the winner, the country’s political universalization remains incomplete.
