Here is who massacred the two police officers

Six people under accusation. The motives remain a mystery The people are suspected of hiding on Mount Dajti. An as-yet unconfirmed source says the killing of the Neziri brothers may have been motivated by revenge. In any case, the official version is still missing. TIRANA - The perpetrators of the killing of two police officers on the outskirts of Tirana have been identified. Yesterday in the early hours of the morning, the police managed to find the two cars in which the killers had fled after committing the crime. They had been hidden among some bushes in the village of Brar, near the scene of the crime. The police have also identified the perpetrators of the killing. According to information from the Ministry of the Interior, they are six people from Tirana and Kruja, and are now being sought. The police believe they are hiding on Mount Dajti. The police have also taken many other people to the police station, who are being checked for possible links to the crime. The prosecution has begun its investigation, and the prosecutors are optimistic about its outcome. While the search and investigation continue, the reasons that led to the killing of the two Neziri brothers remain a mystery. Meanwhile, tributes were paid beside the bodies of the two slain police officers at Police Station No. 1. TIRANA - “The flame” La Bouche greeted the Albanian capital, but “ignited” only two thousand people. For around one hundred minutes, Melani Therton and Lari Mekrei sang before their “faithful” fans, who had signs bearing the group’s name as well as burnt-out shirts. A techno beat accompanied the Americans’ performances, as they took to the stage shortly after eight p.m. Those present had a long wait, since Redon Makashi and the other former members of the group “ARB” were unable to take the stage. An absurd reason put an end to the singer-songwriter’s dream of performing on Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, “La Bouche” was forced to repeat its musical signature during the concert, also using “strategic” moves. Halfway through the program, it unleashed its “drug songs” on the audience, in order to calm

Berisha gives the Socialists a deadline

Commission announced Tereska will be chair TIRANA - Albanians now know the Central Election Commission. Yesterday, the presidential decree brought into being the body that will deal with all elections in Albania. A group of leaders headed by the chief, Nestor Teresken, together with seven other members, make up the people who will represent the Commission. The names of the Socialist candidates have thus been put forward; their names were [unclear] by the citizens at the PS central offices. There was also a boycott last night by the PSD and P.A. “Don’t wait for us; we’re not coming to your commission,” the Albanian [unclear] responded shortly after the presidential decree was issued. “Find our child for us”

Appeal DURRËS – “The law enforcement authorities have been completely indifferent.” A protest by the parents of Jonuz Luku—the little boy who disappeared a year ago—has reached the highest state authorities. “The kidnappers have been found and arrested, but we still know nothing about where our 4-year-old son is. We beg you, with our hearts shattered, to find our son for us, because you have the criminals in your hands.” On page 5

Ballsh: fuel-filled railcars seized

BALLSH – A train has been stopped by the Mallakastër police. BALLSH – was a freight train leaving the Oil Processing Plant, but within minutes it would fall “prey” to the operation by the blue-uniformed officers. Some fuel was not listed in the documents accompanying the iron giant. While the papers showed 14 railcars, the locomotive was actually pulling 17, which were filled with diesel, gasoline and gasoil. Eight people were immediately taken to the police station. The circumstances of the incident remain unclear, as does the place where the smuggled cargo was to be unloaded. In any case, an investigation has begun into the incident, which took place at around 9:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, no further details have yet been confirmed. On page 5

They crash and are detained

KUKËS – The desire to drive, despite having no licence, proved stronger than the rules of service. KUKËS – The desire to drive, despite having no licence, from the Kukës police station “borrowed” a “Jeep” and crashed while trying to take it for a drive. Both of them escaped miraculously, but the same cannot be said for the car, which was completely wrecked. Both officers were placed under arrest. They were on duty at two important and separate facilities, the prefecture and Radio Kukësi, when they decided to turn themselves into drivers. The two officers, A. A., 25, and G. B., 24, made it through Saturday evening after taking a “Jeep” and using it for a joyride. But this act cost them dearly. The car overturned into a ravine near the city and was completely destroyed. It had just been bought by the radio station for around 8,000 dollars. The two officers were detained and now risk not only dismissal from their posts, but also a prison sentence. Jo. Ha.

“Forbidden love”: a young woman hangs herself

TRAGIC END “Forbidden love”: a young woman hangs herself Her parents would not let her marry the man she loved LIBRAZHD – A young woman takes her own life for love. What her parents had denied her, she valued more than life itself, and she hanged herself from a tree. The young woman had long been in conflict with her parents—they would not let her marry the man she had chosen—and after falling into depression, she took her revenge on her own life. She was found dead, with a rope around her neck, hanging from a tree in a place called Shkumbin, in Librazhd. V. K., 21, from the village of Qukës, decided of her own free will to end her life. From the investigative team’s initial actions, an official source confirms, it was believed that love was the reason for such an extreme act. The girl’s parents did not agree with the choice she had made, and, seeing no way to change their minds, she took this unusual step. The number of suicides for reasons of love is thus increasing. More often, this has happened by taking large quantities of medication or pesticides, but there have also been cases in which death by suicide was even more painful. Dozens of other cases of this kind remain unspoken because they find no way into the press and because in Albania such an occurrence is still considered shameful.

Storm in the police force: chief suspends officers and police officers

“They have breached discipline” BERAT - Two officers have been suspended from duty, and a number of other employees are leaving the police station. BERAT - Two officers suspended from duty and a number of other employees leaving the police station. This was the outcome of the storm that swept through the Berat police station. The main reasons that prompted the leaders to take this action were breaches of discipline while on duty and private employment outside working hours. A response from the Ministry of the Interior is expected regarding the two police officers. Meanwhile, sources at the police station report that further preliminary warnings have also been issued to ensure compliance with disciplinary measures. In the meantime, all five police officers have handed in their weapons and uniforms. It was on Tuesday that the head of the criminal investigations department announced all the dismissals of the [employees] who had broken the rules. On page 5
