NEWS FLASH Berisha's departure is a bit chaotic TIRANË - “Away from the President...” the people protest. The angry crowd, which yesterday had numbered more than 50,000, erupted in protests in several squares of Tiranë. Thousands of citizens demanded Berisha’s removal and punishment for those responsible for the violence. During the protest, chants against the government and calls for order and calm were heard. The protesters continued marching toward the center of the capital. The situation remained tense until the evening hours. Following the incident, police intervened in several parts of the city. Some people were lightly injured. Unofficial sources said the crowd dispersed after the intervention of special forces. In the center of the protest, banners and slogans against Berisha’s regime were seen. On page 5
