Time has not always shown itself to be fair in party splits. According to an absurd logic, when a party loses power, the members who leave it are called reformers. This distortion of political perception has often been repeated in Albania as well. That is not how it happens in other countries. Staying in a party and fighting to improve it is much more honest and much harder than leaving in difficult times.

The brothers killed at PD
TIRANA - In a brief statement, the police said that the two young men who were killed yesterday near the headquarters of the Democratic Party are the brothers Kasëm and Qemal Kërtusha from the village of Pishat in Elbasan. They had come to Tirana to take part in the meeting organized by PD. According to initial sources, the victims were shot during a clash near the entrance of the building. Investigations are continuing.

Police lie in ambush; gunfire lasted over 30 minutes
TIRANA - One person was injured during a police chase that lasted about 30 minutes on the outskirts of Tirana. According to witnesses, police patrols set up an ambush for a suspicious vehicle and, after an exchange of fire, its driver fled at high speed. The police are investigating possible links to earlier criminal incidents.
