MOTHER TERESA TIRANA - The serious illness that kept her bedridden for three months in an American clinic caused the death of Mother Teresa. On Friday evening, at the age of 87, the eyes of the saint of the Albanians closed forever. Reliable sources in Calcutta announced that she had been struck by the serious illness. Her death caused pain and tears throughout the world. Thousands of people gathered outside the temple where she lived. The cause of death was again a heart attack. In 1989 she had suffered one, while the last year had been extremely hard on her health.
