SECURITY - Around 10:00 p.m. last night, near Gjirokastra, two strong dynamite explosions occurred. The first lead in the investigation points to a genuine terrorist act. As it has been learned, the perpetrators blew up a high-voltage pylon that supplies electricity to several cities in the south. As a result of the explosion, Gjirokastra, Tepelena, Delvina, Saranda and part of Vlorë were left without electricity. “This is a premeditated action,” police sources say. According to them, at least two people placed the explosive charge. Law-enforcement forces have begun the investigation.
