PHOTO DOCUMENT: THE ALBANIAN MISSILES ON THE MOVE
The Albanian soldier stands frozen. After fierce exchanges, the forces responded with artillery. From the conversation he had with the Minister of Defence, Sabit Brokaj, it emerged that these forces possess neither cannons nor mortars. The strangest custom was mentioned by a senior officer of the Guard, according to whom the missiles of the Albanian army are moving along the roads without protection and without soldiers. It is enough to remember how much guilt was lost in madness and interference. The photographs from 1997 also testify, showing weapons moving freely through the country’s roads.

Alimuça controlled the treasure tunnel
TIRANA - No vehicle was allowed to go to the Krrabë site, ministry drivers testify. The only person who could enter the "secret tunnel" was Alimuça, the head of the then government’s secret control. According to the testimony, it contained gold confiscated from Albanian merchants and the gold of the State Bank, looted during 1997 from the depots. All this has recently been uncovered during the inspection carried out by the parliamentary commission of inquiry into finances.

THE SILENT MINISTERS
(Essay on political mediocrity)
VILI LANGO
I don’t know whether he will change the ministers, but the quarters of the government of enterprise directors, (with zeal) into the ministers of the 20/rej[?]/nizimit[?].
They are not seen anymore, with eyes hollowed out by long sleep, faces worn away, so worn down that they make you weak. What has happened to these men with the government? Before we can even get to know their positions, we do not ask who they are. But who are they? "We are a silent government." They do nothing, they do not speak, they do not move. They do not even laugh. They just sit there and keep sitting there.
What strikes us is not their age, nor their wrinkled faces, nor their tiredness. It is their inability to see beyond their noses. And when one of them speaks, it seems as if he has come from the end of the last century. This government looks as if it had come out of the offices of a bankrupt factory.
They are people who have never understood what politics is, but even when they try to speak about it, they do so with effort. At best they arouse pity, at worst horror.
They lack not only words, but also gestures. They do not know how to sit, how to speak, how to laugh, how to get angry. Everything in them is numb. Even when they want to seem energetic, they give the impression of a clerk who has been mistakenly raised to the podium.
This government does not frighten you, because it has no strength. It saddens you, because it is unworthy. It resembles a tired administration waiting for retirement.
