AFTER THE DENUNCIATION Berisha’s round table: Let NATO come Right-wing parties sign the resolution TIRANA - The house is being turned upside down, the opposition is being troubled by the matter. Initiator of the right-wing round table, the head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has since Sunday aligned his positions with those of 13 right-wing political parties, calling for NATO intervention. In the resolution signed after yesterday’s meeting at the U.S. headquarters, the right-wing opposition stated that unofficial armed structures are operating in Albania and that intervention by the Atlantic Alliance is needed to avoid a civil conflict. Yesterday’s meeting of the right wing took place amid a fierce clash with the Christian Democratic Party, which boycotted the round table in protest at the PD’s stance toward the PDK. At the end of the meeting, it was clarified that the holding of this round table was not accidental on the eve of the Nano-Milošević meeting to be held in Crete. Meanwhile, the points of the joint resolution were also presented at this meeting. On page 2

We received a phone call from his son, Blerimi. “Two Albanians have won 5 billion lire, but the Italian owner is delaying payment of the winnings,” they said. The winning ticket had been issued at a shop on via Padova. After a series of checks, the seller admitted that it was a major win. According to the cousin of one of the winners, the Italian was asking the winners to sign documents and split the prize. On Monday evening, 2 March, the Albanians received their share of the winnings. They then headed to Rinas airport to return to Albania. The winners’ full names have not been made public.
