Why are we dirty?

Politicians are bugging Kadaré to keep it; let them try it themselves Fractions in plenary session Blendi Zaganjori It is not the flea, which cannot sleep, but the water. Up and down, the whole world has been filled with rubbish and mud. Not only the streets and sidewalks, but the whole neighborhood, the squares, the entrances of apartment blocks, the courtyards of houses, all have been penetrated, into every corner. It stinks everywhere. There are people who do not put their heads out of their homes, not out of shame, but because they cannot find passable roads. Garbage has become a normal part of the landscape. This is not only a matter of cleanliness, but also of civic responsibility. In a society where politics deals with wiretapping, where accusations and counter-accusations fill the day, no one seriously takes care of the small but vital things. If you leave it to those who shout on television to fix a neighborhood, they will hardly manage it. Kadaré should keep it; let them try it themselves. Two weeks of tension among "the people’s elected representatives", then the solution

Deputies protest: We want money!

Parliamentarians outraged over salaries VJORA, "GIVE US BACK WHAT'S OURS, OTHERWISE..." TIRANA - Tired after the long days of sessions and with their eyes on the end of the month, deputies have expressed dissatisfaction over delays in their payments. According to complaints made in the corridors of the Assembly, the people's representatives have been left without several payments and allowances. "This is no way to do things," one of them was heard saying. A strange atmosphere prevailed in the hall, where demands for greater responsibility mixed with a direct concern for income. While waiting for a solution, there was also irony. Some were asking for explanations about per diems, others about overdue payments. The issue was accompanied by jokes, but also by harsh tones. In the end, amid humor and nervousness, only the protest remained: we want money! On page 2

Uncovered it all by himself for PD

Berisha hesitates TIRANA - Berisha is waiting for the next phone call and the next signal to act. Meanwhile, the Democratic Party seems left in prolonged suspense. Political circles comment that he still holds in his hands the decision for a new move. Others say this is simply a delaying tactic. At the PD headquarters, people speak in low voices. The issue is linked to recent developments and to internal clashes that have left their mark. Some see the hesitation as political calculation, others as a lack of resolve. In any case, all eyes remain on Berisha. On page 2

Gjinushi, a "cold shower" for the party

Skënder Minxhozi TIRANA - Tired and concerned by recent developments, figures within the party have faced harsh criticism. Gjinushi has been placed at the center, and according to many voices he took it upon himself to "freshen up" the situation, but ended up stirring it even more. Meetings have been marked by tension, irony and indirect accusations. Some have called it a "cold shower" for the party, a moment in which internal reservations have been openly revealed. This move has sparked no small amount of discussion and is expected to be followed by other consequences in the coming days. On page 7
