editorial Ana Çani Every time we hear and write about humanitarian activity, the first feeling we have is one of indifference, since every kind of message about the deeds of philanthropists or anyone else appears forced. Many people dismiss it with a cynical and opportunistic laugh, not properly appreciating the value of charity. For others, especially in these days when something is fashionable and embellished with other people’s millions, the matter becomes more than that. For more than three years, and four times out of five after the speedboat drivers of March '97, what we Albanians have regarded almost with indifference is the humanitarian aid given by Cypars, local and foreign, with organized groups, born out of previous experience and accompanied by the awareness of the structure of great irresponsibility that brought all kinds of loss.
