This is what the injured miner Agim Përkolaj said yesterday. In an interview for “Gazeta Shqiptare”, the survivor explains that since Monday there had been signs of a gas explosion in the mine and that his team, assigned to carry out repairs, was punished by the managers of the company “ACR”. “We were not specialized for such explosions. They punished us, sent us to our deaths because we took part in protests and hunger strikes,” said Hoxhi. Meanwhile, he appeals to the government not to remain silent any longer, not to turn a deaf ear and close its eyes to what is happening in Bulqizë, and not to allow mines to turn into miners’ cemeteries.....
