THE VALUE THAT WILL BE JUDGED ON THE 45 YEARS THAT HAVE PASSED, WILL APPLY TO ENVER HOXHA AS WELL
By SHYQO DEDI, mathematics teacher
Just as is being done with various historical figures, it is certain that the same will be done with the figure of Enver Hoxha. The stamp that will be placed on it will assess, for better or for worse, an era. Thus, the outlook and activity of E. Hoxha will be judged and ultimately defined by the period that bore his name.
Those who want to put a black stamp on this period must bear in mind and accept something like this; otherwise they will be nothing but charlatans. — The stamp that would be placed on the 45 years that have passed will also apply to the figure of Enver Hoxha.
— It would not be difficult to find positive aspects and sides in that period. Likewise, it would not be difficult to find negative aspects and sides as well. To judge only one side and deny the other would not be realistic.
The real difficulty lies in how much weight the negative side will carry in that period and how much the positive one. How will it appear before public opinion, before history? This, first of all, depends on our realism and objectivity.
…I wait for each coming year for us to become wiser, more intelligent, more courageous, more mature. We are in a period when disappointment must be left behind as a curse of the past. Man is worthy of the future and not of the past, and especially must not be thrown into a personal moral crisis, because then the meaning of life is lost. The future must be viewed with the thought that we won freedom of speech not in order to complain and curse, but to build and to judge with fairness.
If we make an honest balance sheet of that period, we will find merits, we will find mistakes, we will find crimes. Therefore, the judgment of its figures must be such as well.

A new slavery is being born. Help at the turn of the century!
UNDER THE BURDEN OF DEPARTURE.
In the backward Albanian market.
In the name of humanity, in the name of the humane, under the guise of nobility, the greatest tragedy of our nation is being played out. The country is being emptied of its labor force, families are being stripped away, towns and villages are being laid waste, people are leaving in a disordered and hopeless way.
This is not just a matter of an ordinary movement of people. There is something more, something more serious. There is a strong economic and spiritual pressure pushing people to take to the roads of the world without a plan, without a purpose, without a light.
Albania is losing its most capable sons and daughters. The youngest, the strongest, those who should have rebuilt life, are leaving. Who will remain to keep this country standing? Who will work, who will raise the economy, who will keep hope alive?
If emigration becomes a way of life, then we have entered a new slavery. Economic slavery, moral slavery, national slavery. Therefore immediate help is needed, clear thinking is needed, social and state responsibility is needed.

When will the “BERLIN WALL” between Kosovo and the Republic of Albania be torn down?
If they call us nationalists, it is no surprise. To write about that, there were no Albanian supporters, for the tank, Kosovo had to be referred to with the terminology “Kosovars.” Now, such Albanians who created the wall and others who keep it standing, it is in the honor of Albanians everywhere to blow it up. BERLIN? says anyone rightly. And who? First, Albanians and their representatives in parliament. Second, those deputies who are for the demolition of the inter-Albanian wall. Third, those students, workers, people of culture who want natural ties with Kosovo.
Kosovo and Albania cannot be separated by bureaucratic barriers. The former administrative border cannot be an eternal obstacle to the free movement of people, books, culture, and goods.
The BERLIN WALL is collapsing wherever people love freedom. Will our internal wall also collapse?
