If Albanians are trying to leave Albania ...
If these days we heard about the attempt at the largest exodus ever launched from the ports of Shëngjini and Lezha, we must not see it as separate from the entire unequal political situation in which our country has found itself for a year and more.
Albania. Neither Ismail Qemali, but thousands of Albanian emigrants who showed themselves and their desire for independence more clearly in the first days of the pluralist and unequal movement. Only last year proved how hopeless and costly measured and confused actions have become. Not only does solving the crisis require courage, it also requires moral and political maturity. More than anything, the lack of a state that can provide guarantees, security and stability has been felt.
If the rulers and the opposition keep beating the same drum, in order to divide Albanians according to their sympathies, then before us appears only the prospect of a great collective defeat. The exodus is not only a physical departure, but the final act of distrust toward this political class.
If hundreds and thousands of people think that salvation cannot be found in this country, but on the shores across the sea, then this is the harshest accusation against the state and its institutions. The people who leave are not betrayed by their own land, but by injustice, poverty and the lack of hope.
If Albanians rushed toward the ports, this means that the word of politics has lost its weight. People are not fed by promises, but by bread, by work, by order and by a minimum of justice. Power cannot justify itself forever by the inheritance of the past, nor the opposition by its own helplessness.
If there is not an immediate change in political language and state behavior, this country will enter an endless cycle of despair. Albania is not saved by dividing it into ours and theirs, but by giving everyone a reason to stay.
If we fail to understand this great national alarm, then history will condemn us not for our poverty, but for our blindness.

Aben Lika does not speak to the press
Regarding the news in the previous issue of our newspaper, which spoke of compromising acts by ministers of the Meksi government, according to the official source of the Ministry of Communications led by Abben Lika, in recent days the editor-in-chief of “Koha Jonë”, Alek-sandër Frangaj, also met personally with chairman A. Lika.
To our question, he replied that others may also comment, but that from the ministry he will give the answer after the official decision. About journalism and the judiciary of Albania, 24 hours earlier there had allegedly been a basis accusing the unlawful discrediting of entrepreneurs in the multi-term list.
Mr. Kadare gave his arguments for a legal and not political solution to the problem, because this would give proof to the people, the citizen (please, Mr. Ali) politically.

Albanians kill one another
Today we are informed, by one of our collaborators in Greece, that a few days ago in the Albanian embassy in Belgrade there was a young man who was pursuing his studies in Belgrade.
