They protest against the PRESS law and call on the President of the Republic, Mr. Sali Berisha, to send this law back to the People’s Assembly for reconsideration! A large number of newspapers will begin a one-week protest strike starting Monday over the press law published yesterday in the Official Gazette. These newspapers are: 1. "Koha jonë" (independent newspaper), 2. "Alternativa SD" (independent newspaper), 3. "Linjatari" (independent newspaper), 4. "Rilindja demokratike" (PDSH newspaper), 5. "Dita Informacion" (PS newspaper), 6. "Dajti" (independent newspaper), 7. "Shqip" (independent newspaper), 8. "A1" (independent newspaper), 9. "Flamuri" (Socialist Party newspaper), 10. "Aleanca" (Democratic Alliance Party newspaper), 11. "21 Ofri[?]" (socialist newspaper) Note: the newspapers "Koha jonë" and "Linjatari" were not published yesterday, while the others will be published, because tomorrow and the day after tomorrow are holidays. The Presidency of the Republic, Mr. Sali Berisha, is being urged to ask the People’s Assembly to reconsider this law!
