The hypothesis that they were informed on is the most credible, because in fact they were caught after only a short part of the journey. Thus, the number of drug smugglers caught in Greece can be counted on the fingers of one hand, following the two citizens from Korçë and a farmer from Kurila. Despite these cases, the “import” of drugs into Greece continues. Sources close to this trafficking say that the “goods” are transported by mule and that the price for carrying a load several kilometers beyond the border reaches eight thousand drachmas.
