Three deaths in 11 days from car accidents Two serious accidents shook Vlorë yesterday at midday VLORE - Two serious accidents yesterday at midday once again shook the citizens of Vlorë. Occurring one after the other, they caused the death of a 7-year-old girl and serious injuries to another 5-year-old child. The Vlorë resident Thoma Binaj was the author of the first tragedy, as he was speeding with his own “Benz”, license plate Vl 6632 A, on the Dukat - Fushë road. The outcome was fatal. The 7-year-old Anjeza Jazaj died immediately after the collision with the car, while she was returning from school to home. According to sources from the Vlorë police station, it was only the car’s hellish speed that caused the tragedy. But less than an hour later, another accident occurred on the Transballkanike road in Vlorë. The driver Piro Shemaj, driving an “Alfa Romeo”, Tr 7673 B, seriously injured the 5-year-old Erald Rakipi. Immediately after the impact, the little boy was urgently taken to hospital, badly injured. As reported, both drivers have been detained at the Police Station and the investigative teams have forwarded the documents to the Prosecutor’s Office.
