Crime at a wedding TIRANË - A crime at the height of celebration. The victim is a woman who died on the spot as a result of the severe wounds caused by a shotgun blast. Although the killing was carried out completely unintentionally - in a moment of unrestrained merriment, one of the wedding guests fired into the air to congratulate the newlyweds - its author has been arrested. In fact, Viktor Tela, 34 years old, a resident of the Lapraka neighborhood where the incident also took place, went to the police station no. 3 of the capital immediately after the crime. “I killed her by mistake,” he said to the police and to the judges who yesterday later decided on his arrest. According to what has been confirmed, on Sunday afternoon, in the electrified atmosphere at a wedding of one of his relatives, Tela fired several times with a shotgun to salute the long-awaited union, as usually happens at Albanian weddings, although for this purpose he had chosen a firearm. But when he lowered the shotgun, completely carelessly, the weapon “vomited” fire again without his intention.
