Nano trial on 27 November

Date set at the Court of Cassation “All the documents that the Prosecutor’s Office has removed from Nano’s file are coming from Rome” The date for the trial of the imprisoned Socialist leader Fatos Nano has recently been set. The proceedings, which will take place at the Court of Cassation, in accordance with the New Penal Code, will be permanently boycotted by the Albanian Socialist leader. “We also have other legal options for trial, but we will use them only when we become convinced that the courts will act solely in the name of the law,” says lawyer Sanxhaku. In addition, it is learned that the defense has finally also obtained the documents held by our Prosecutor’s Office, which it had “removed from Nano’s file.” In this way, it seems that the trial to be held in Cassation against Nano, just one day before Independence Day, will be a formality whose outcome is already known. It will be the Penal Chamber of the Court of Cassation, under the direction of the vice-president of this court, Mr. Zef Nika, that on the 27th of this month will hear this case at 10:00 a.m. without the presence of the defense side. page 2
