The area spoke to the newspaper: Spiro Shashi, a resident of the village. According to residents of Kastrati and Këlcyra, local officials accuse the group led by the head of the Internal Affairs Branch of Malësi e Madhe, who has overstepped the mark with several actions. Regarding the latest conflict, Spiro Shashi said that on Monday the special forces of Këlcyra entered the towers of the Zeneli clan with an arrest warrant. Local services stated that they were unable to take action against several individuals, since according to the testimony, they had not personally committed the acts of defiance against the authorities. For this reason, a special military group arrived from Tirana, entering the village with vehicles and weapons. This move has been described as unjustified by the residents, who accuse them of staging new provocations. Later, according to the statements, the forces exerted pressure to hand over those wanted and searched several houses.
