We will cut off Tirana’s water

680 villagers occupy the Bovillë dam About 400 families in Bovillë and Tirana threatened yesterday that they would cut off water to the capital if the government does not recognize their right to the land ownership. About 700 representatives of the surrounding villages blocked the entrances to the electrical substation on Tuesday and in particular seriously threatened to pull out the main pipe that supplies water to the capital. The Bovillë protest comes as, after the revolt of 4 June, the government is again trying to... this has led to the acceptance of the owners’ claims through government... in channels... [?] ...which have been entirely urban for the government. During the developments, the villagers claim that they had land covering around 700 hectares occupied by the Bovillë dam, as well as... with Bovillë... with all the heights with the construction of the canals. The developments... the situation and, more generally, the position have led to the occupation of control of the entrance to the water pipes of the government and decisions with the management of the activities of Kazezë. The demand of the villagers and the population is that the land be replaced with land that had been promised to them, it was said a few days ago to a government representative who speaks about the way of solving the problem.
