The PD wants to steal the votes
Alarm among Albanian parties over the draft electoral law
In Albania, no one is talking about free elections anymore
Boycotting the elections is a dilemma for the opposition
The Albanian opposition is facing dilemmas and decisive political choices. Approval of the law would mean victory for the PD and its distribution of votes according to its “mercy” for each party. Boycotting Parliament would hardly bring anything new. The “Brozi” precedent could be repeated. Boycotting the elections remains a major dilemma.

Last night Pietro Zannoni declares from Italy
I was used by someone in Tirana
They pay me well for what I do
Last night at 11:30 p.m., our newspaper’s correspondent in Milan, Angela Hysi, managed to obtain the full interview that Italian journalist Mario Vicentini conducted with Pietro Zannone, originally from Grottamare in Ascoli Piceno, for “Koha Jonë”.
- Your news has thrown the Albanian newspaper “Koha jonë” into turmoil.
-I know. I was also listening to Albanian radio, and as far as I understood they have blocked the vehicles to distribute it. But the blockage has nothing to do with my story. It is a ban that is not related to me. The newspaper is still coming out, I believe?
-Only part of the print run was blocked. But you gave the news about black funding. Do you have evidence and who provided it to you?
-The source is secret. But after what has happened I see that I was used by someone in Tirana, who when he gave me the news told me that I am a former Albanian Sigurimi man, but as it turns out now he continues to work for SHIK. Now it is difficult for me to go to Albania. I am afraid.
-Your news caused a great deal of confusion in Tirana. How will you act?
-I am not going to Tirana. I am afraid, but there I have close friends such as Edi Paloka at “RD”, Vili Rakipi at “Albania” and Blend Fevziu at “Aleanca”.
-Why does an Italian journalist deal with Albania?
-For me it is a mysterious country that has always attracted me. I am 24 years old and I want to practice journalism. In Albania you find some of the most sensational news there can be in the world.
-Do you make any financial profit from this?
-It is true that you don’t get rich with Albania, but I have found some people who are interested in my news and they pay well for what I do.
Note. After this interview, the journalist of “Koha Jonë”, Angela Hysi, tried until after midnight to get in touch with Pietro Zannone, but without being able to speak to him directly. His mother only clarified that Zannone had left a phone number, along with the note that any Albanian journalist wishing to talk to him should call the number: (00 39 735) 65 25 17. Recently, Zannone is the author of the news item that caused major controversy lately and that led to attacks with urra against the newspaper “Koha Jonë” for malicious Serbian politics. In the above interview, Zannone clearly suggests that his Italian friends have used him as a lure released from the sea to fish in Albania.
