Please, do not steal votes
Local elections are held today. The US and Europe demand guarantees for respect for the vote
Manipulations increase. Opposition: We will not withdraw from the commissions
Will the police approach the ballot boxes?
Today, on the day of the local elections, we are urged not to steal votes. The number of voters with certification and the distribution of identification slips remain the main factor in the victory of the left-wing force, party by party. The existence of all these shortcomings clearly shows that the PD and the right-wing organizations are distrustful, as long as we lack the dividing criterion between left and right, the feeling of left or right, as long as we do not know how many are coming out in terms of the parties on these days.
Today is the day after the end of the election campaign. All day and last night the parties were presenting their programs. Pullbacks, seclusion in the polling stations and faded photographs from years past broadcast on private television channels. The most important thing of all remains today. What will happen to the Albanian vote on this election day? According to some of the commissioners, the main concern remains the vote of certified voters. It is enough to fine the same person as many times as you want at different polling stations, as long as you certify them. This problem was raised yesterday for the last time by some opposition representatives. The voice over the distortions, the traces must be handled carefully. According to some of them, because of delays in distributing the identification slips, many voters will vote with certification and this suggests how great the abuse could be. According to yesterday's data, many polling stations were still bringing in the data with the votes. This has created a chaotic situation for the commissions. There are also many complaints at the CEC and the burden of the vote seems to be visible. It is enough for everything to proceed according to the law and without manipulation.
Up to now it has been clearly stated that all citizens must vote with identification slips. This vote without the proper stamps is completely illegal. Opposition commissioners said they would leave the commissions if they are not provided with the proper materials and the process continues in uncertainty. In some municipalities there have been mismatches in the voter lists and this is expected to cause problems during counting. On the other hand, official sources continue to repeat that everything is under control and that the police will stay away from the ballot boxes. That is precisely the demand coming from the opposition and from international observers.
