The editorial office has received a very large number of letters, despite the short time available and the lack of a tradition—which we at “Koha Jonë” want to establish from now on. People’s preferences have been numerous, which we consider entirely normal; therefore, choosing the winners has not been easy. By asking the public to choose the figures of the year, we intended to set a precedent in the Albanian press: protagonists would be selected by the readers themselves, not according to newspapers’ tastes.
