Berisha in the Presidency, Vranicki in Vlorë

The money-lending bosses disappear. Only Sudja is known in her cell. The prosecutor is intensifying the investigation Former chancellor: “OSCE, your last chance” The leader of the Albanian democrats and member of the Schuman Parliamentary Group of the OSCE, Franc Vranicki, as well as the Austrian parliamentary representative, arrived on a mission in Tirana and in front of the PD and during meetings Franc Vranicki landed yesterday morning at Rinas airport to meet with the delegations of the Democratic Party and Albanian foreign policy figures, as had been announced earlier by the organization’s politicians. From the early hours, the mission of the Albanians’ “fate” began with receiving the first “beeps” from both sides of Albanian politics. Vranicki: “Two things have been enough for the democrats to act. They had insisted strongly in the free parliament, but he declared that he has no intention, as they react calmly, to rush into implementing the agreement and help find a solution, especially for the PD.” The OSCE envoy stated yesterday during his meeting at the presidency that, to ease tensions and control events in the country, a key role has been played by the Austrian framework, and Vranicki explained: “We believe that we have made a contribution to ending this crisis, since recent events have also shown the path that solutions should follow. The first path is for the PD to sit down in dialogue with the other parties and political forces. Yes, there can be solution and stability if the PD takes part.” At the evening meeting he held with Berisha and the delegation of Albanian democrats, he made it clear that the PD must sit face to face with the socialists and others. This was yesterday’s statement by former chancellor Vranicki, which was made by the democrats. He communicated to them in principle the transition to a moderate force in all issues that the current situation requires, according to the same approach toward calming the PD. Moreover, if this test were the case and the PD rejected the foreign country, the class of people would be troubled by what happened at the beginning of May, and the criminal “hands” in the sense [?] of discussing whether the place with strong and moderate positions not only for itself. The chancellor’s statement comes to Tirana at the height of concerns over the pyramid schemes. “The OSCE is committed to preserving the disk Berisha. Amboni made it possible for the democrats to transfer the incorporation into their government in the new solution. In this regard, we again see clearly that we are asking for clarification and establishing clearly the Albanian organization to finish this decision and give the country enough room to continue talks with the other forces.” The attack on the capital amid the escalation of the opposition parties’ activities on Tuesday evening still raises a question about order and calm. The OSCE considers it necessary to take measures to avoid deviations and the strange spectacle of the Albanian scene. Vranicki also reminds that Albania’s democratic future requires calm and responsibility from everyone. Confidence in progress and in organizing to ensure order and governance in the country is one of the conditions for opening the way to dialogue. Yesterday’s round of talks, along with a sharp intervention into the doors of Albanian politics, firmly declares a European Union approach and accountability. From this, the mission also expressed the need to eliminate the pyramid schemes and arrest the responsible persons, so that the crisis in the country does not spread further.
