The bodyguards govern
Unjustified engineering exploits that economically, more than the government majority, have produced five hours which shortened the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Njehmije Xhafa, the day a little without any need. Thus, the appointments to the newly important positions and the replacements of government officials chosen on the basis of the merits of certain positions are enough to make one cry and laugh. Such are the cases of the replacements and appointments of cabinet officials of the head of government, who have the same way of working and the same timeliness, not only in relation to earning from it, but also because of the government selectors. As is known, the prime minister’s personal bodyguards and personal relatives have been appointed to the head of important institutions, even setting aside a number of experienced specialists.
In this context, appointments such as that of the director of the State Intelligence Service, who yesterday was the bodyguard of the former prime minister, or other appointments to high administrative posts, may be mentioned. This style of governance raises serious questions about standards and meritocracy in the Albanian administration.
