The Albanian problem has still not come to the surface

By Xhak Baldi The blockage that has occurred has been considered [?] in political and international issues historically. The Balkans are no exception to this general rule. Only when it appears on the scene after the outbreak of a major crisis does the Albanian problem emerge in its full dimensions. That is why in many cases it has been treated as a secondary issue, while in essence it has been closely linked to regional developments. At different times, efforts have been made to reduce the problem to a local conflict, without taking into account its later consequences. Developments in recent years have shown that this approach has been wrong. Any lasting solution requires full recognition of the rights of Albanians and of their role in the region. NATO has already placed the issue at the center of attention, but there is still no clear vision for a final solution. For this reason, the voice of the Albanians must be heard more clearly and more strongly in international forums.
