ONLY IN A CALM SITUATION CAN FREE ELECTIONS TAKE PLACE

Only a calm political climate and respect for fundamental rights can guarantee the free will of citizens. The statement condemns pressures, administrative obstacles, and any form of intimidation against the opposition. It demands that the media, institutions, and law-enforcement bodies act impartially and in accordance with the law. In conclusion, the Democratic Party addresses all citizens, political forces, and the international community, urging them to support the free electoral process and the peaceful transition to democracy.
