Vandal groups attacked the center of Lushnjë. Commercial premises and food warehouses were damaged during the night. According to residents' accounts, organized crowds entered shops and depots and took various goods. The police and the law-enforcement forces intervened late. In some areas, other social tensions were also observed, linked to food shortages and general insecurity. The situation remains fragile and requires immediate measures.

As the parliamentary session continued, deputies from the opposition and the majority presented their assessments of the political and economic situation. State responsibility, the maintenance of order and the protection of the national interest were called for. It was stressed that without a political agreement there can be no lasting solution.
