In the conditions created by our people and our country, by the major historical and political events and turning points, and by the new demands of the times and of the Albanian people, the Democratic Party of Albania addresses you with this open letter.
In the spirit of responsibility for the fate of the country, for the future of democracy and political pluralism, we call on you to make wise decisions in line with the national interests.
The Albanian people expect clear and swift solutions to the deep political, economic and moral crisis in which the country finds itself.[?]
Martyr of freedom and democracy Arben Broci defends his mining diploma
The pure national cause is a symbol of democracy and of sacrifice for the freedom of the Albanian people. This noble and courageous man will always be remembered with respect by the students and professors of the University of Tirana, while his family and all of Albania feel it as an irreplaceable loss.
At a special ceremony, his life and work were remembered. Warm words were spoken about the figure of Arben Broci, the student who became a symbol of resistance and dedication to democratic ideals. In tribute to his work, the mining diploma was handed over to his family.
His professors and colleagues emphasized that the memory of Arben Broci will remain alive and will serve as inspiration for the younger generations.[?]

The Democratic Party of Albania, starting from the circumstances that have arisen and from the escalation of the political and social crisis in the country, expresses its deep concern over the serious situation in which Albania finds itself.
The democratic forces are convinced that the country cannot move forward without a clear break from the totalitarian past, without the establishment of genuine political pluralism and without respect for fundamental human rights and freedoms.
The Democratic Party demands that the safety of citizens be guaranteed, that political violence be stopped, and that conditions for free and fair elections be created. It condemns attempts at manipulation and calls for legal accountability for the violations committed.
The statement calls for sincere political dialogue, institutional reform and a new national course that will bring the country out of isolation and misery.

As announced by the ADP organization, the Secretary General of ADP, Raymond Michon, head of the French delegation of solidarity with Albania, arrived in our country by transport plane with 40 tons of medicines, food products and clothing. These aid supplies are intended for the wounded and for families in need.
This act was valued as an important humanitarian gesture and as a sign of friendship with the Albanian people.
