The deputy chair of the PDSH - NEXHMIJE HOXHA IN HUESI
.
It was still morning when I called to ask about the day ahead. I thought that Mr. Sadik Haxhileshi would have left the village of Hues for Mal i Robit, where he has set up a holiday tent like most of the village's democrats. But, surprisingly, he was standing in front of the house. “Today is a historic day for us as a village. Mrs. Nexhmije Hoxha, the deputy chair of the PDSH, is coming to Hues,” said with joy the head of the PDSH section of this area.
The meeting with the residents of Hues took place in the morning. In her speech, Mrs. Hoxha spoke about the program and goals of the Democratic Party, about the difficult path the country is going through, and about the need for all honest people to unite in defense of democracy. She stressed that the Albanian people are living through difficult economic and social days, but that only civic courage and democratic organization can overcome these difficulties.
The villagers raised many questions about land, supplies, education, and the prospects for young people. Mrs. Hoxha answered calmly and encouragingly, stressing that the solution cannot come from empty promises, but from the citizens' own participation in political life and in the democratic oversight of power.
At the end of the meeting she also visited several families in the village, became closely acquainted with their economic situation, and spoke about the most urgent problems. Mrs. Hoxha's visit to Hues was received with great interest and respect by the residents.
