Political Criminal Attack
But that did not end it. On the outer wall of the building, insulting slogans appeared, such as “Down with democracy”, “Down with the students”, “Long live the PPSH”, etc. The authors of these provocations were those who had not accepted the loss of power and who were trying to restore the atmosphere of political terror.
On Friday morning it became known that an explosion had occurred near a building where students lived. According to witnesses, the explosion had a clearly political character and was intended to frighten the young people who had become part of the democratic movement. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but the material damage was considerable.
In their statement, the students condemned the criminal act and demanded that the perpetrators be identified and punished. They stressed that such attacks would not be able to stop the road toward pluralism and that the university would remain one of the liveliest centers of resistance against the dictatorship.

professional football players in the world of rivers. This unequal struggle continued until 31 July, last year, again with the victory of the red “crocodiles”. Thus, during the demonstrative hunger strike in June, part of the students and lecturers was attacked, while the rest was denounced as “anti-party” and “unconstitutional”. Today, one year later, the written word of free speech is being blocked and democratic students and lecturers are persecuted, dismissed from their jobs, abused and harassed. This effort, apparently, to separate students from the democratic developments of the country and to draw them into a process of depoliticization and passivity, is an expression of the communist regime’s fear of the revolutionary force of the student youth.
The suicide of the 20-year-old student Agron Çela, which shocked public opinion, was an act of accusation against the former regime and not against the democratic forces. Once again, the authorities are trying to hide this truth and use the tragedy for political purposes.
At the funeral of student Agron Çela, the police and security forces intervened brutally. Citizens who expressed their grief and outrage were treated as enemies. This state violence, which continues even today, proves that the old system has not died.
Students demand that the justice authorities investigate all cases of violence against young people and intellectuals, and that everyone who ordered or committed political crimes be brought before the law. Democracy cannot be built on silence and fear.

Last year also marked an intensification of activity against democratic forces. Despite the announced changes, the old bodies continued to work in the same spirit. Students and lecturers were put under pressure, monitored, threatened and in many cases dismissed from their jobs for their political beliefs.
At the university, the climate of uncertainty and suspicion deepened. Instead of dialogue and reform, the regime chose provocation and division. Even when people openly came out in defense of freedom, they were met with slander and denigrating campaigns.
