- A new chapter in Albanian-Greek relations - Friendship assures that Greece will help Albania. It is the time when our two peoples, with democratic and social, military, and developed countries. There is no doubt that in today’s Albania valuable relations are being established, which life itself demands. And if we need one another, rapprochement makes it possible for a lasting peace and fruitful cooperation to exist. These views were the focus of the meetings in Athens, where it was stressed that the new relations must be built on mutual respect and understanding. Our peoples have many reasons to draw closer, because history and geography have placed them next to one another. Albania needs help and Greece has expressed its readiness to support it.

Peoples and not least persons or individuals are unique. Today’s Albania is a decisive chapter. 2. We are following the current economic situation and the Albanian people with great interest. 3. The communists of Albania do not pay attention to the developments taking place in Europe. 4. Only a democratically elected government can achieve results. 5. The German state will continue to support Albania. 6. The year 1995 is an important year for Albania in its integration. We will do what is possible for Albania. In this process it will have our support.
The Albanian national question - ON THE EVE OF THE YEAR 2000 STILL UNRESOLVED -
Since 1913, the partition of Albanian lands has remained one of the greatest historical injustices. Albanians in Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and other regions continue to face numerous political, national and cultural problems. The Albanian question remains open and calls for a just solution in accordance with the will of the Albanian people. (Continues on pages 2-16)

Ismail Kadare returns to his homeland, where he has not been absent
Ismail Kadare was due to return to Albania on 22 May. He first arrived in Paris, where he had stayed for a long time. The well-known writer has expressed the desire to be close to the new developments in Albania and to contribute with his presence. His return has been welcomed by public opinion and literary circles.
