President of the Republic Sali Berisha received Mother Teresa She expressed her feelings and concerns regarding the humanitarian mission she is carrying out and her activities in Albania. President Berisha thanked Mother Teresa, saying that through her dedication to human ideals and her broad-ranging activity in Albania she is directly helping to relieve suffering and improve the living conditions of many people in need. President Berisha told her that the Albanian government, through its central and local bodies, would create every opportunity to support her in her sacred mission.
