I do not agree

(Leka BUNGO AGAINST PELLUMB PULLES)
Dear Mr. Editor-in-Chief,
This article explained that KOHA JONË, through the character of the chosen orientation [...] [?], and the protagonists of the opposing orientation would be presented as characters without inspiration, without dramatic effect, or with weaker arguments. So, in the final result, PULLES’s orientation won, because the structure of the piece itself made it the winner.
In my statement I declared that this was the only reason for my reaction to this article. Meanwhile, it seems to me that there is no need to add further words to stress that it is not acceptable to take advantage of a newspaper’s circumstances to publish one-sided letters against an author.
I made no remark about Pëllumb Pullë as a creator or intellectual. My reaction concerned only the way the issue was handled and the balance of the debate. If another position had been published in parallel, or if I had been given the right to an immediate reply, then the matter would have been of a different nature.
In any case, I remain of the opinion that newspapers should maintain an equal standard for public debates and should not turn polemics into moral condemnations of the person. This is especially important in today’s troubled social climate.

In these times of Bosim and Duam, they support above all... the government forces
Mr. Aleksandër MEXI, Chairman of the Council of Ministers
, of the Socialist and democratic wing, held a meeting yesterday with representatives of the political parties of the right-wing camp. The meeting discussed cooperation between the right-wing political forces and the government in order to better face the country’s difficult economic and political situation. The discussion dealt with issues of stability, reforms, and support for the government.
The conversation shows that the right-wing forces are ready to contribute to overcoming the crisis, while also preserving their political independence. The meeting was considered useful for strengthening cooperation between the government and the right-wing political spectrum.
The representatives present expressed differing views on the pace of reforms and the role of opposition parties at this stage of the transition. It was emphasized that the country needs stability, order, and support for state institutions.

P. Arbnori is asked to open the prison!
the interests of our country, Mr. Ambassador. And since we find ourselves halfway along the road, they posed one at the edge of the trade unions to get through the December 1990 revolts. But Mr. Arbnori has been part of such histories. If you close yourself in and die for Albania, you no longer have the right to make other political demands.
Even today, when this country is playing so much with the word freedom, Mr. Arbnori has the moral right to speak about prison and prisoners. But that does not mean prisons should be opened without criteria. His demand has been interpreted by opponents as an excessive concession, while supporters call it a humane and political act.
The article discusses the meaning of this appeal and its relationship to order, law, and the democratic transition.
